We are an independent think-tank on urban governance consisting of professionals with vast experience and expertise in the field, actively working on its mission since the year 2014. We are in a confident position to offer ‘plug and play total solution’ to the Govt. by remodeling/recodifying all the existing outdated and disjointed urban and town planning laws with its rules and regulations comprehensively viz., – BBMP Act, 2020., Karnataka Municipal Corporations Act, 1976, Karnataka Municipalities Act, 1964., Karnataka Town and Country Planning Act, 1961, BDA Act,1976, BMRDA Act,1985 and Karnataka Urban Development’ Authorities Act, 1987 with up-to-date structural, systemic and metropolitan governance reforms for its adoption in urban local bodies, town planning & parastatal bodies in Karnataka as and when required for the sustainable and accelerated development of the State.
To study and disseminate ideas for planning, creation and improvement of efficient and sustainable quality infrastructure along with a comprehensive urban Governance legislative framework for sustainable development to achieve a better quality of life for its people.
To join hands with all stakeholders to transform cities and urban settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable with world class infrastructure by forging public -private partnership and community participation by creating a new legal framework for urban and town planning.
A highly verstile technocrat professional with 40 years of experience having strengths in technical, marketing, finance, and urban governance including policy studies. Has a practical experience of drafting an existing Transferable Development Rights (TDR) law being an active member of the expert committee formed by the Govt during 2014.
A prolific Dy.Secretary of Govt of Karnataka (Rtd.) with rich experience and explosure in urban development, industry and commerce, infrastructure development, higher education, and health department. Having drafted various model laws, amendments, rules and regulations, by-laws etc. Actively working with Think-tank since 2014.
